An FFL transfer is the legal process required to purchase a firearm online in the United States. Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders are licensed dealers authorized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to receive, transfer, and sell firearms.
When you buy a firearm from EliteGunDepot.com, the firearm is shipped to a licensed FFL dealer, not directly to your home. You will complete the background check and final paperwork at that dealer before taking possession.

Step 4: Complete the Transfer
When the firearm arrives:
Visit the FFL dealer in person
Complete ATF Form 4473
Pass the required background check
After approval, the firearm is legally released to you.

A valid government-issued photo ID
Any state-required permits or documentation
